I really like this lip butter balm. It smells just like cake—sweet but not overpowering—and it makes applying it such a treat. The color is absolutely beautiful, giving my lips a soft, glossy tint that looks very natural and flattering. It feels smooth and moisturizing on the lips, not sticky, and leaves them looking healthy and hydrated. This is one of those lip products that’s both fun and effective, and I find myself reaching for it often.
This lip butter balm is not too different than another brand of similar packaging. I compared back to back to that one and I believe this is a solid competitor. It feels nice on your lips. Not too thick, but not too thin. It's also not goopy or sticky in any way like some lip products can be, it is light but you still feel like you're wearing something nice and hydrating. Also, just a little bit of this product goes a long way. It is lightly tinted to bring out some vibrance in your lips, I like that it's not too tinted so you can swipe it on without looking in a mirror or if you're in a rush. I especially like the applicator, it is contoured to your lips and made of soft silicone. I also really like the smell of it. The pink sugar smells of a strawberry pixie stick candy. Yummy!! Overall, this is a really nice lip gloss/butter balm, quite similar to brands you can find at Sephora and Ulta. It is lightly tinted and complementary to your skin tone. The applicator makes for a lovely user experience. I recommend!
I’m in love with this lip balm, I ordered it in Birthday Cake. It looks like a gloss and feels like a balm. My lips feel and look more hydrated since I started using it, I actually prefer it to my normal lip balms now because it isn’t waxy and it melts in. It doesn’t feel sticky or messy either. It’s so glossy and pretty and the tint is very subtle and natural looking. It has lots of shine and shimmer but it isn’t glittery. The scent is amazing too, like a vanilla cake. I don’t notice a flavor. I love this stuff and am already planning on purchasing some when I run out. This is for sure a winner! Hope this is helpful!
Feels very hydrating and isn't sticky or greasy. I can feel it on my lips but it doesn't feel too heavy. Applicator is nice and is easy and comfortable to use. I only wish it had slightly more tint to it. It says light pink for the Pink Sugar color that I got, but there's really no color at all, just gloss. (I have lip blush so it looks like there is color on my lips, but this didn't change the color at all, just added sheen.) Fine for those who don't want any color at all.
